Marisa, based in Santa Barbara, California, has 14 years experience in teaching private piano lessons and has helped over 200 students, between the ages of 4 and 65 years old, achieve the confidence and enjoyment that come from learning, and loving, to play the piano.

At the young age of sixteen, Marisa was fortunate enough to have been selected as the apprentice of a master teacher in the art and technique of piano instruction. When her instructor retired at the end of that year, she lovingly handed over her large student base to Marisa and hence Marisa’s successful piano teaching career began. To further expand her musical and pedagogical knowledge, Marisa received a university degree in music performance and education from an esteemed university.
